 "Take a Look Around" is a song by the American nu metal band Limp Bizkit. It is the tenth track on their third album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water and was released as the lead single from the album in July 2000. The main riff of the song is derived from the original Mission: Impossible theme composed by Lalo Schifrin. and appears on the soundtrack to the 2000 film Mission: Impossible II. The single was a world wide hit charting top 10 in many countries "Take a Look Around"  at #28 in Australia

Mavis's - 1997 - Cry FLAC




The Mavis's were an Australian pop band from Ballarat, Victoria. The band was composed of Matt Thomas (guitar, vocals), his sister Becky (vocals), Nick Gill (guitar), Andrea Vendy (drums), and Josh Alexander (bass guitar). They are best known for their 1998 synth-driven single "Cry", which appeared on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 1998. "Cry" is a song by Australian alternative rock group, The Mavis's. The song was released in January 1998 as the first single from their second studio album, Pink Pills (1998). The single peaked at number 13, becoming the group's highest charting single.

Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday, September 27, 1947) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor usually known by his stage name Meat Loaf. He is noted for the Bat Out of Hell trilogy of albums, consisting of Bat Out of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell, and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. Bat Out of Hell has sold more than 43 million copies worldwide. Almost 40 years after its release, it still sells an estimated 200,000 copies annually, and stayed on the charts for over nine years, making it one of the best selling albums of all time. He is also known for his powerful wide-ranging operatic voice and theatrical live performances.
"I'd Lie for You (And That's the Truth)" is a song composed and written by Diane Warren, and recorded by Meat Loaf and Patti Russo. The song was released in 1995 as the first single from the album Welcome to the Neighbourhood. The single release reached #2 in the United Kingdom #13 in the United States and it reached #7 on the Australian charts

Paul Kelly - 1997 - Tease Me





Words And Music is an album recorded by Paul Kelly and originally released in 1998. It was released on Mushroom Records in Australia and Vanguard Records in the United States. The US release include one additional track, "How to Make Gravy", which was released as a separate Extended Play prior to the release of Words and Music in Australia and was nominated as 'Song of the Year' at the 1997 Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) Awards.

The album peaked at #17 on the ARIA albums chart and #44 on the NZ album charts, and was certified gold. The album included five singles including this one that did not reach the Top 40 singles chart.

Human Nature is an Australian harmony pop group, which formed in 1989, with Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers, Andrew and Mike Tierney. Originally they were a doo-wop group, the 4 Trax, while the members were schoolmates. After signing with Sony Music as Human Nature, they released their debut album, Telling Everybody, in 1996. Three of their albums have reached number one on the ARIA Albums Charts, Counting Down (May 1999), Reach Out: The Motown Record (November 2005) and Dancing in the Street: The Songs of Motown II (October 2006). Two other albums reached number two, Get Ready (November 2007) and Jukebox (October 2014). Their top 10 hits on the related ARIA Singles Chart are "Wishes" (October 1996), "Don't Say Goodbye" (March 1997), "Everytime You Cry" (duet with John Farnham, October 1997), "Don't Cry" (July 1999), "Eternal Flame" (October 1999), "He Don't Love You" (November 2000) and "When You Say You Love Me" (April 2004). Three of their albums received multi-platinum certification from ARIA, and four have received platinum, with a total shipment of over 1.6 million records in Australia, as of April 2011.

Jimmy Barnes - 2000 - Chain of Fools




"Chain of Fools" is a song written by Don Covay. Aretha Franklin first released the song as a single in 1967 and subsequently it appeared on many of her albums. In 2000 Australian Rock artist Jimmy Barnes did a cover version of this song for his live album Soul Deeper and it reached #15 on the Australian charts.

Gunz N' R0ses - Knockin' On Heavens Door




In 1987, Guns N' Roses started including the song in their live sets. A live version of the track was initially released on the maxi-single of Welcome to the Jungle the same year. They recorded a studio version in 1990 for the Days of Thunder Soundtrack, which was later slightly modified for the 1991 album Use Your Illusion II (basically discarding the responses in the second verse). Released as the fourth single from the album, it reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart as well as #12 in Australia and #1 in Ireland.

Whitlams - 1998 - Melbourne




The Whitlams are an Australian indie rock group formed in late 1992.   Four of their studio albums have reached the ARIA Albums Chart top 20.  "Melbourne" is the second single by The Whitlams from their breakthrough album, Eternal Nightcap. It was released on 27 January 1998. The song peaked at #70 on the Australian ARIA singles chart.

John Farnham - 1996 - Don't Let It End





Romeo's Heart is a studio album by Australian singer John Farnham. The album was released in Australia on 3 June 1996 and was Farnham's first studio album since the release of Then Again... in 1993.

This album peaked in the ARIA charts at No. 2 and was four times platinum. It won the "Best Adult Contemporary Album" at the ARIA Awards in 1996. This album produced five singles in total Including: (A Simple Life), (Hearts On Fire), (Don't Let It End) #66, (All Kind Of People) and "Have A Little Faith (In Us)" which gained the most commercial success, reaching No. 3 in March.

Guns N' Roses recorded a cover in 1994 which reached No.55 on the Billboard Hot 100 the single reached #12 on the Australian Top Forty it was featured in the closing credits of Neil Jordan's film adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and was included on their Greatest Hits album.

Erik Francis Schrody (born August 18, 1969), known by his stage name Everlast, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, known for his solo hit "What It's Like" and as the front-man for rap group House of Pain.  Company of Strangers were a short-lived music group from Australia. The group consisted of Simon Hussey (Cats Under Pressure and Australian Crawl), Jef Scott (Geisha), James Reyne (Australian Crawl) and Daryl Braithwaite (Sherbet). The group released four singles and one album, which was certified gold in 1993. "Motor City (I Get Lost)" is the first single from Australian supergroup Company of Strangers. The track was released on August 1992 and peaked at number 26 in September. It features the vocals of Daryl Braithwaite and James Reyne. The single reached #26 on the Australian charts.

 "Shiver" is Natalie Imbruglia's first single from her third album release Counting Down the Days and it is her 8th single overall.
